Meet Julie Fresne; with over 30 years of experience in medical student loan and education debt management, Julie Fresne is a trusted expert in the field. Julie has held key leadership roles, including Director of Student Financial Planning at the Georgetown School of Medicine and Senior Director of Student Financial and Career Advising Services at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

Her extensive career has provided her with a unique perspective, having worked on the academic, lender, and loan servicer sides of the student loan industry. At the AAMC, Julie collaborated closely with medical schools, career advisors, financial aid officers, and graduate medical education staff to address education debt management and career planning for medical school students and residents. She is a sought-after speaker, regularly presenting on loan repayment strategies and education debt management at medical schools and teaching hospitals nationwide.

Julie holds an M.A. in Social and Public Policy from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Social and Behavioral Science from the University of Utah.
