Terms and Conditions for MedEdFinance LLC Consulting and Educational Services
Scope of Services: MedEdFinance LLC provides educational lectures, workshops, and consulting sessions designed to help medical school students understand financial aid, student loans, and loan repayment options and strategies. The specific scope, schedule, and format of the services will be as described in the purchase details or proposal.
Payment and Refund Policy: Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Payments are non-refundable once the service has begun. MedEdFinance LLC shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. If MedEdFinance is unable to deliver the agreed-upon service for any reason, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Informational and Educational Nature of Services: All content, discussions, and materials provided are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not intended to constitute personalized financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Each student’s financial situation is unique, and they are encouraged to consult with their servicer, a licensed financial advisor, attorney, or tax professional regarding unique personal decisions about finances and loan repayment. Students are solely responsible for personal financial decisions and for verifying any program eligibility, repayment plan, or forgiveness criteria with the U.S. Department of Education or their loan servicer.
Information Is Subject To Change: Information presented is based on federal regulations, loan servicer policies, and industry standards available at the time of the session. These are subject to change due to updates in legislation, Department of Education rules, or other legislative, regulatory or policy changes. MedEdFinance makes no guarantees that the information will remain current or applicable after the date of service.
Confidentiality: Any personal or financial information shared during sessions will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon educational service, except where disclosure is required by law.
Intellectual Property: All materials, slides, handouts, and presentations are intellectual property of MedEdFinance and are provided for personal educational use only. They may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedEdFinance's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid for those services. MedEdFinance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or reliance on the information provided.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, or the services provided by MedEdFinance LLC, shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration, to be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the state where MedEdFinance LLC is headquartered, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorney’s fees, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding. Nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
